Terms of Use — FoodTracker

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the FoodTracker application ("the App"), developed by Boris Serzhanovich. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Medical Disclaimer: FoodTracker is designed for informational and educational purposes only. The App, including the AI Coach and AI Chef features, is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or a qualified nutritionist before making any significant changes to your diet or health regimen.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple-branded products that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

2. Premium Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

The App may offer premium features through subscriptions or one-time purchases ("In-App Purchases").

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store Account Settings after purchase.

3. AI Features & Content Generation

FoodTracker utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate dietary suggestions, recipes, and coaching responses. While we strive for high quality, AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You acknowledge that you use these features at your own risk and that you should verify any critical dietary information independently.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
Submit prompts to the AI features that contain illegal, harmful, or explicitly offensive content.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or hack the App's backend infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App's cloud features if you violate these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its original content, features, design, and functionality, is owned by Boris Serzhanovich and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Curated content, such as Academy articles and pre-defined Chef Recipes, remains our exclusive property.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boris Serzhanovich shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to health issues, injury, or data loss resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.

7. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of the updated Terms.
